The Wonders of Coffee
This week sees the Arctic Team heading into London to visit The London Coffee Festival on Brick Lane.
With artisan coffee, gourmet food stalls, demonstrations from the best baristas in the biz, workshops, coffee cocktails and music on offer, it’s looking to be a great show! On top of that, the Taste Room is described as ‘Coffee, chocolate, wine, whisky and beer’ – what more do you need?!
It got me thinking though, how many other drinks can you think of that have a whole show dedicated to it? Coffee is such a versatile ingredient, it continues to amaze me how much can be derived from a coffee bean and how many different, creative ways people find to use the raw ingredient, it’s even managed to become an art form. Even now, new ideas and ways of using these incredible beans are still being developed and coming to the market constantly, it’s a very exciting industry to be a part of and I’m really looking forward to the show.

Okay, so maybe we didn’t quite have to go to the Arctic, but we did go half way round the world and back to find just the right Columbian arabica beans to blend with our highly prized Devonshire milk, which we think is the key to our great tasting Iced Coffees.
